CNC Operator - Milling

Primary Duties: 

Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, the primary responsibilities of the incumbent will be: 

• Be able to understand and interpret engineering drawings. 

• Be able to use the measuring instruments at his/her disposal and measure the machined parts.  
• Be able to make changes in the programming (G-codes, mazatrol asset) 
• Be able to prepare setups, tooling, measure tools and work offsets. 
• Use good judgment and ensure continuous operation of the machines. 
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as required. 
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts. 
• Consistently work in compliance with CNESST standards 

 Required: 

• Good knowledge of the imperial system  
• Knowledge of 4-5 axis is an asset 
• Autonomy, versatility, and resourcefulness 
• Knowledge of FANUC language (Mazatrol language asset) 

Requirements and working conditions: 

• Level of education: high school diploma (general) 
• Years of experience required: minimum 2 years of experience on digital milling machines (DEP + ASP digital control) 
• Required training: Forklift and overhead crane card 

Number of hours per week: 40hrs (5 days a week Mon-Friday, occasionally overtime will be required)
