Su principal funci\u00f3n es separar la pulpa previamente acondicionada, en un concentrado y relave. El nivel de dichas celdas es controlado mediante <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>v\u00e1lvulas de dardo,<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> que a su vez son operadas por actuadores. El c\u00e1lculo de la v\u00e1lvula de control de nivel (Dardo) en las celdas de flotaci\u00f3n requiere una alta consideraci\u00f3n ya que el objetivo final es un control de flujo preciso para maximizar el tiempo de retenci\u00f3n de la pulpa y minimizar el tiempo de inactividad,, por esta raz\u00f3n es esencial un <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>actuador de v\u00e1lvula de control <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">confiable y preciso.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"es-419\">Tradicionalmente las v\u00e1lvulas de dardo usan conexiones mec\u00e1nicas para alimentar la posici\u00f3n a los posicionadores que son luego usados para operar los actuadores. Las conexiones mec\u00e1nicas o brazos, por estar expuestos, se atascan, aflojan o da\u00f1an f\u00e1cilmente, lo que resulta en una p\u00e9rdida o compromiso de la retroalimentaci\u00f3n de posiciones y por consiguiente una p\u00e9rdida del control de la v\u00e1lvula de dardo.
